Swing Into Spring At The Parker: Music, Laughter And Dance Take Center Stage This March

An Evening with They Might Be Giants: The Big Show Tour comes to The Parker as part of the Cleveland Clinic Rock Series on Saturday, March 1st at 7:30 p.m. The eight-piece band featuring three horns, two sets and zero openers starts early and gets loud, with They Might Be Giants in top form as they bring their ever-evolving show on the road. Featuring songs from the earliest days of their Dial-A-Song service through their platinum album “Flood,” and all the way to their Grammy-nominated album “Book,” each night of the tour is its own distinct celebration of the band's singular songbook. Backed by their notorious live band now including a three-piece horn section, audiences can expect a spontaneous, sprawling and enthralling musical event unlike any other.

The Broadway smash Rain – A Tribute to the Beatles comes to The Parker as part of the Mosaic Series on Friday, March 7th at 7:30 p.m. This live, multi-media spectacular takes audiences on a musical journey through the life and times of the world's most celebrated band. This expanded and stunning concert goes further than before, adding more hits from the Beatles catalog that includes such classics as "I Want to Hold Your Hand," "Hard Day's Night," "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," "Let It Be," "Come Together" and "Hey Jude." This performance is generously underwritten by Jeannette and Marty Engelmann.

Spyro Gyra with Lee Ritenour perform as part of the TD Bank Jazz Series on Saturday, March 8th at 7:30 p.m. Known to its peers in the Contemporary Jazz World as a "well-oiled road machine," Spyro Gyra has logged more than 10,000 shows on six continents and released 35 albums, garnering Platinum and Gold Records along the way. The group's international prominence in the Jazz World is a testament to its energy and joy in concert matched only by its unmatched musicality. Guitarist Ritenour has released more than 40 albums in his five-decade career and continues to demonstrate his keen understanding of the symbiotic balance between himself as a frontman and the musicians with whom he plays.

The Cleveland Clinic Rock Series continues at The Parker with Jefferson Starship: 50th Anniversary Runaway Again Tour on Sunday, March 9th at 7:00 p.m. One of the most successful arena rock groups of the ‘70s and ‘80s, earning three Platinum and eight Gold Records, as well as numerous top 40 singles, Jefferson Starship broke onto the scene with a unique fusion of psychedelic and progressive rock. Praised for their electrifying performances and innovative sound, Jefferson Starship has captivated audiences with their iconic music and stage presence for 50 years. Today, the band includes founding member David Freiberg, legendary Jefferson Starship & Starship drummer Donny Baldwin and longtime members keyboardist Chris Smith, lead vocalist Cathy Richardson and lead guitarist Jude Gold. The Broward Center and AEG Presents bring Howie Mandel to The Parker as part of the Truist Comedy Series on Monday, March 10th at 7:30 p.m. For more than 40 years, Mandel has remained a constant force in show business and has been a fixture as a long-time judge on NBC’s flagship series “America’s Got Talent.” Mandel is coming to The Parker for one night of an off-the-cuff, anything-goes evening of laughs. Seamlessly blending illusion, acrobatics, magic and whimsy, MOMIX: Alice sends audiences flying down the rabbit hole at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 14th and Saturday, March 15th at The Parker. In Moses Pendleton's newest creation inspired by Lewis Carroll's classic “Alice in Wonderland,” this dazzling company takes audiences on a mind-bending adventure filled with visual splendor and startling creative movement. Alice encounters time-honored characters including the undulating Caterpillar, a lobster quadrille, frenzied White Rabbits, a mad Queen of Hearts and a variety of other surprises. The Broward Center and AEG Presents bring the spirit, musicality and fire of American Supergroup Chicago to The Parker with Leonid & Friends: A Tribute to the Music of Chicago on Thursday, March 27th at 7:30 p.m. as part of the Cleveland Clinic Rock Series. In just a few short years and with the help of YouTube, Leonid & Friends, an 11-piece miracle band from Moscow, has blown the minds of legions of fans with their uncanny ability to replicate the band’s complex arrangements note for note, despite not having seen Chicago perform live until recently. They became an internet phenomenon with more than one million followers hooked by the group's 20 spot-on versions of beloved Chicago hits that have received more than 40 million views worldwide.

Presented by the Broward Center and AEG Presents, Cowboy Bebop LIVE! comes to The Parker on Friday, March 28th at 7:30 p.m. Presented by the Bebop Bounty Big Band, this multimedia experience highlights the story of the critically-acclaimed Japanese anime television series “Cowboy Bebop” with a 14-piece jazz ensemble that showcases the original series soundtrack alongside scenes from the television series.

Teachers and friends will want to put down their red pen, pause that Netflix series they’ve been bingeing, throw on their comfiest tee, call their besties and burn off some of that school year stress in exchange for a night of laughter when Bored Teachers: The Struggle is Real Comedy Tour comes to The Parker as part of the Truist Comedy Series on Saturday, March 29th at 7:30 p.m. The biggest entertainment platform for teachers in the world, Bored Teachers presents its first-ever comedy tour with the funniest teacher-comedians from the BT videos and beyond. Their hilarious skits have amassed hundreds of millions of views on the internet, and they're all joining comic forces on the stage for a night of laughter audiences won’t want to miss.

The Truist Comedy Series continues with #IMOMSOHARD: The Flashback Tour on Sunday, March 30th at 7:00 p.m. From the creators of #IMOMSOHARD, Jen and Kristin are heading out on a Spring Tour with a brand new show guaranteed to make audiences laugh. These two dive into all things womanhood, motherhood and friendship. There are new things to talk about and some old things to talk about in new ways, like surviving marriage, fashion and the tween-teen years. These two may be older but they are only getting better – or bitter. They are bringing audiences together to “find a way to laugh at the stuff that usually makes us cry.” This show is rowdy, raucous and a little bit naughty. Audiences coming with a group of friends, solo or with their husband, make sure he sits in the front row and should prepare to laugh.
