A Plantation business woman took home the grand prize of $15,000 to help grow her business during BankUnited’s annual gathering of women business leaders, owners and aspiring entrepreneurs during the Small Business, Big Dreams: Women in Business Summit to celebrate National Women’s Small Business Month.

Bofshever Alon’s wellness-based, state-of-the art clinical practice is dedicated to nurturing the health and well-being of everyone from pediatric to geriatric patients.
“All of our judges were impressed with Dr. Gena’s energy, passion and knowledge of where her business is heading and what it will take to achieve her big dreams,” said Lisa Shim, BankUnited Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Technology and Innovation.
