Executive Director, Judy Rotenberg, has been working in senior living for five years and has personally been managing Mariposa for the last two years, and her job has proven to be one of the most rewarding experiences in her life.

“We are now Mariposa, and the reason we chose that name is because it means butterfly and it’s a new beginning for us,” said Judy.

Perhaps one of the greatest programs at Mariposa is the Resident Ambassador Program; residents who have lived at the community for a while volunteer to meet and acclimate new residents. The program has received an enormous amount of positive feedback. “It’s kind of like a buddy program, we’ve received a lot of positive feedback,” says Judy.
