The ultimate backstage pass to iconic music under the stars! Everyone under the sun is invited to join The LOOP for the Ninth Annual Friday Night Sound Waves “Backstage Pass” Series, where iconic tribute acts will light up Las Olas Oceanside Park with legendary hits.

From the yacht rock and disco grooves of the Bee Gees and the electrifying energy of Prince to the rock anthems of Rod Stewart and Journey, every Friday night will celebrate the music that shaped generations. Guests will groove into December as the soulful performances of Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston and Neil Diamond will set the tone for a festive and unforgettable season.

Attendees are invited to come early to enjoy various pre-concert games on the main lawn starting at 5:00 p.m., along with local artisan vendors and a rotation of food and drink vendors to sip, sup and shop before, during and after the show.

The free concert series will take place every Friday, from November 1st through December 13th, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Optional VIP experiences are available for purchase on select dates. The series culminates with the Fourth Annual Christmas Eve with Sinatra dinner show on Tuesday, December 24th, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., wrapping up the year with timeless elegance.

Presented by the City of Fort Lauderdale’s Beach Business Improvement District, Friday Night Sound Waves welcomes locals and visitors, the young and the young at heart, to enjoy some of South Florida’s best musical talents, performing an eclectic range of genres. Scheduled performances include:

Friday, November 1st – Bee Gee’s Now – Tribute to the Bee Gees

Friday, November 8th – Sir Jac is Prince
Sir Jac is a dynamic Florida-based Prince tribute artist who brings an unmatched level of authenticity to his performances, captivating audiences with the look, sound, and energy of the legendary Purple One. With over 10 years of experience impersonating Prince across the U.S., Sir Jac has mastered the essence of the music icon, even earning admiration from Prince himself during a chance meeting at Paisley Park. Backed by a professional band recreating the magic of Prince’s "Revolution," Sir Jac’s performances are known for their stunning visuals, incredible costumes and electrifying stage presence.

Friday, November 22nd – Never Stop Believin’ – Tribute to Journey
Never Stop Believin' is the premier tribute to the iconic rock band, Journey, delivering an authentic experience that transports audiences back to the late 70’s and 80’s. Known for their remarkable ability to capture the look and sound of Journey, this band recreates the magic of seeing Steve Perry and Journey at their peak.

Friday, November 29th – Hotter Than July – Tribute to Stevie Wonder
Hotter Than July is a high-energy Stevie Wonder tribute band that celebrates one of the most iconic and versatile artists in music history. Fronted by the talented Gerry Williams, a seasoned vocalist, percussionist, and keyboardist, the band delivers soulful and infectious performances of Stevie Wonder's greatest hits.

Friday, December 6th – Latraia Savage is Whitney Houston
Latraia Savage leads an unforgettable tribute to Whitney Houston with her stunning performance in Remembering Whitney. Backed by an exceptional six-piece band and vibrant dancers, Latraia captures Whitney’s signature grace, power, and style, captivatingly celebrating one of music’s most beloved voices.

Friday, December 13th – Nearly Diamond, a Tribute to Neil Diamond

Tuesday, December 24th – Sinatra and Friends
Back by popular demand, Sinatra and Friends on Christmas Eve will be a night to remember filled with classic Sinatra tunes and holiday hits. Featuring Jeff Grainger, backed by his six-piece band with Rat Pack buddies Sammy and Dean, guests will feel like they are back in the Swing Era. Bring the whole family and start a new Christmas Eve tradition. The concert is free to attend and welcomes all ages. A limited number of VIP Supper Club-style tables are available for purchase.
Cost: FREE open lawn seating or VIP Supper Club-style seating is available for purchase ($30-135). A limited supply of chairs are available to rent for $7.50.
