The members of Chi Mu Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated proudly invite the community to join in celebrating a significant milestone—our chapter’s charter anniversary. Since its establishment, Chi Mu Zeta, affectionately known as the "West Park Zetas," has remained steadfast in its commitment to service, scholarship, sisterhood, and finer womanhood, extending its reach beyond West Park to positively impact the surrounding communities of Hallandale Beach, Davie, and greater Broward County.

The “Oh So Sweet 16th Chapter Charter Celebration” will take place on April 19th, 2025 at 6101 Miramar Parkway, Miramar and will highlight the chapter’s achievements, community engagement, and future goals. Attendees will have the opportunity to witness awards for community leaders, and an overview of the chapter’s ongoing service initiatives, in a festive environment. Tickets for the event are available on the chapter’s website: www.chimuzetachapter.com.

“We are honored to celebrate the establishment of Chi Mu Zeta and the incredible work our members have accomplished," said Tomeka Law, Chapter 2nd Vice President and the events Chairperson. "While we are known as the West Park Zetas, our dedication extends beyond city borders to serve Hallandale Beach, Davie, and other surrounding communities, reinforcing our mission to be a beacon of service and excellence.”

In December 2024, Chi Mu Zeta Chapter made history by hosting Hallandale Beach’s first-ever Wreaths Across America ceremony, honoring veterans at Hallandale Beach Cemetery. The chapter also participated in the Hallandale Beach Cleanup and has formally adopted a portion of Hallandale Beach Boulevard through the Adopt-A-Road initiative, ensuring ongoing community beautification efforts.

Additionally, the chapter is preparing for its upcoming Bowling for Babies event in Davie, Florida, benefiting the March of Dimes March for Babies, furthering its commitment to maternal and infant health advocacy. Through strategic partnerships with Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated’s international initiatives, Chi Mu Zeta actively supports service projects that uplift families, empower women, and provide critical resources to those in need.

Beyond hands-on service, Chi Mu Zeta remains dedicated to fostering education and professional development by awarding scholarships to graduating high school seniors and teacher grants each fall to educators within the chapter’s service area. These initiatives ensure that students and teachers alike have the support necessary to thrive academically and professionally.

Community members, supporters, and partners are encouraged to attend this special celebration and learn more about the chapter’s ongoing efforts.
